SUMMARY:Camp Evergreen Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Originally known as Kiddies Camp\, Camp Evergreen was founded in 1926 by Charles E. Broughton as a summer camp for underprivileged children. In the mid-1950s\, Kiddies Camp changed the focus of its programming to help meet the recreational needs of our communities’ children and adults with cognitive disabilities. The name was changed to Camp Evergreen in the 1980s better to reflect our commitment to young and old alike. \nTom & Evan and Pat McCurdy will perform\, back by popular demand. This event benefits our Natatorium project. Please share this invitation and join us for food\, entertainment\, and raffles. We appreciate your ongoing support and anticipate seeing you again this year.

SUMMARY:Chunky Knit Blanket Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This workshop has discounted registration fees!Your registration includes:•Everything you need to make a chunky knit blanket during our workshop•A blanket bag for your finished Masterpiece•Emailed instructions for future projects\n\n\n\nChunky knit workshops are perfect for beginners or experienced knitters! We will be making blankets with just our hands. Everyone leaves with a cozy new blanket in a blanket bag and a new skill. After the workshop you also get emailed instructions and yarn buying tips for future projects. We make lap blankets that often end up full body blankets. I encourage you to choose what style you want\, looser or tighter knit so blanket sizes vary. The very tightest knitting would create a blanket about 45×42 \, most end up much larger.\n\nThis is a pre register event – there are limited seats available and they are first come first served. There are 2 pricing options.\n$55 – anyone who registers for this option will choose from the yarn colors I bring to the workshop\n$75 – anyone who registers for this option will preselect their colors. This will be a premium yarn which is a bit softer and thicker. It tends to hide imperfections a bit better and there are a ton of color options. When you register for this option\, you get an email approximately 4 weeks before the workshop to choose your colors.\n\nYou can view the current colors available here.\nhttps://downtime-with-dawn.square.site/gallery\n$75 option registration link\nhttps://booking.setmore.com/…/1f2c1c2b-776b-4c9a-b191…\n$55 registration link\nhttps://booking.setmore.com/…/90ee4d95-a57b-43ef-b8a4…

They’ve toured up and down the Western US coast\, the deserts of the Southwest\, the Rocky Mountains\, the cornfields of the Midwest\, and through the musical heartland of the US South. Since 2021 the band has called Indianapolis\, Indiana home.\n\n\nDavey and The Midnights have shared the stage with acts such as Kelsey Waldon\, Dale Watson\, Jesse Daniel\, Nikki Lane\, TK and the Holy Know-Nothings\, the Cordovas\, Cristina Vane\, Chris Pierce\, Rob Leines\, and Izaak Opatz. Their emotionally charged\, high energy performances are not to be missed.\n\n\nhttps://www.daveyandthemidnights.com/bio-1\n\n\nThe Driftless Revelers formed in the second spring of the first global pandemic of the 21st century\, with one ear turned toward the shellac platters and Victrola virtuosos of the early to mid 20th century\, and the other ear glued to the soundscapes of the 1960’s & 1970’s American freak-folk scene.\n\n\nSince their debut tour in 2021\, the band has billed with Grammy winning bluegrass legends like Tim O’Brien\, toured extensively throughout the Upper Midwest\, and had breakout performances at several festivals and events (Mile of Music in Appleton\, WI. featured in Rolling Stone Magazine).\n\n\nThese Eau Claire\, Wisconsin based weirdos have earned a cult following of devoted fans from Minnesota to Michigan who appreciate their irreverent\, highly original\, and sometimes slightly psychedelic interpretation of American roots music with a Midwest twist. Their live show banter and thoroughly entertaining sets have earned them comparisons to Ween\, Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show\, Tenacious D\, and the Holy Modal Rounders. Their debut record\, American Fork Standards (2022)\, was well received by their family members\, and a few other people who said nice things about it.\n\nFeaturing the original songwriting of Ben Nelson\, Matthew R. Sayles\, and Jerod Kaszynski\, the Driftless Revelers will pleasure a crowd with plectral wah pedal banjo tones\, the mournful wailing of resophonic steel guitars\, and the up-right bass bellows of an era that can’t quite be defined\, but revels in the timeless ephemera of weird old-time American music.\n\n\nhttps://www.philvillerecords.com/thedriftlessrevelers
